Culture:

 * Vedda culture comprises their religious beliefs, rituals, and artistic expressions.

 * They respect natural forces and ancestors, and specific rituals form an important part of their lives.

 * Dances, songs, and storytelling are significant aspects of their culture.

Language:

 * The Vedda language is distinct from other languages in Sri Lanka, believed to have connections to Sinhala and Tamil.

 * However, today, many Veddas use Sinhala, and their traditional language is gradually disappearing.

Current Situation:

 * Modern development and deforestation have posed threats to the traditional Vedda lifestyle.

 * Various organizations and individuals are working to protect their culture and language.

 * Government and non-governmental organizations are working to improve their living conditions.

 * The culture and lifestyle of the Vedda people of Sri Lanka are an important part of Sri Lanka's cultural heritage, and its protection and preservation are crucial for future generations.
